I don't think I have anything to add aside from what the suggesters stated. Maybe it's the view of what goes on behind the camera, something most people don't see, the making of the photographs, and the colours just make it pop.

PatrickRuegheimer

Not only a great concept but also an amazing capture. The colours are breathtaking and the whole scene is awesome. ^^

I chose this image as i got it as a DD suggestion, for me, DD suggestions are one of the most exciting notes i get, it brings my attention to artists i may have never come across, and for this image by pajaritos i selected it from the suggestions as its pop-funk retro vibe really appealed to me, plus the smooth colouring and glass panel back drop really composed the shot to bring attention to the model.

our bedroom by zigshot82

joannastar

From looking at the thumb when it was suggested to me, the first thing that really stood out to me was the colour pallete. I love the colours used, and to me it's monochrome without being boring, which can be difficult to pull off. On full view, I was struck with the quality of the modelling and textures, for example, details like the roughness of the back wall of the room and the faint reflections of the vases on the windowsill in the glass of the windows.
Overall I think it's a great piece of work, and that it and the artist zigshot82 deserves the feature :aww:

PatrickRuegheimer

Well, what can i tell you about this work? It's overall a high quality work, as i understand it, but there are some points we can say about it that enhanced my perspective.

- Design: Truly a very original design, from the furniture shapes (those arches in bed; shapes of the pictures on the wall) to some nice details as those tiny lamps and a already used perfume bottle, which helped to add some sense of reality to the scene.

- Colors: Different shades of purple and violet we don't see often as the main colors on a bedroom; in children's maybe, but not in couple's bedroom. Yet, the colors chosen ended up being the right ones here. Of course the artist could have chosen some more "common colors", as beige or soft warm ones, but i think his lady has something do to about this choice.

- Materials: I'm not a professional at all when comes to the use of a 3D software to emulate real scenes, but i have a good idea about how difficult it is in order to achieve the 'real' sensation to the viewer. And this Mr. zigshot82 did with competence and creativity. Using hair textures to emulate the rig texture was a very good idea; tho maybe not the first artist to use it, but he surely did it very well. And we still have the lights, those soft courtains, woods and metals and some plastics; all nicely done.

Overall, all fits well and beautiful.
And the ceiling lamp rocks. ^^

He veered around plurals and possessives as if they were road kill.
“How many balloons are there?” she asked.
“Eight,” said Henry.
“Not seven? It looks to me like there are seven.
Henry stiffened but didn’t back down. “Huh. I thought I noted one more.”
“You mean you thought you spotted it? Saw it, maybe? Noticed it, even?”
Henry tied the balloons to the chair and turned to face her.
“I didn’t note it,” he said.
And that was the end of that.
Marietta wondered if she was the only one to detect

I had a hard time picking one of his deviations to suggest, since his entire gallery is so stunning. So expressive. Why I decided to chose this one to suggest, is mainly because of the lightening. And also because of the crop, because of his great eye for composition and a lot more reasons why I think this piece is great. And besides that, now I got to know him, I figured out that it was a good choice suggesting it, since he really is a good person and he deserves it.

Far AwaySometimes we grow up like this:
gyroscopic, like sunflowers, our faces turning
towards the sun.  And the sun is more than a ball
of burning gas.  The sun is warm and bright
and alive.  And we are warm and bright and alive.
I am no bloom.  Wings do not rely
on the kindness of strangers.  But sometimes they will tell you
that people aren’t things you can own.
They will tend to the flowers, they will lean into the garden,
prune dead leaves and reshape
innocent bushes.  Their sweat will drip into
your faces, my glittering lilies, my lonely and cynical roses,
and they will tell you how to
come into your own.  They will say the world is a
cold and frightening place when you are
far from your home soil.  They will pack your roots with compost
and entice you to stay.
Rise from the dirt and move on.
